A PROGRAMME of this week aims to help young people to be more active and improve their health.
Go4Fun run by Anglicare Riverina, is designed for children seven to 13 years, accompanied by their parents.
Two sessions are held each week during the 10 weeks of the program, including indoor games and outdoor activities, interactive discussions on nutrition, physical activity and self-esteem, and practical demonstrations and healthy eating tips, label reading of food and portion sizes.
Millett said program Director Olivia Go4Fun provides a helping hand to families who want to improve their health fitness youth.
"Go4Fun is a great program for families looking for that little extra support to help them live a healthier life," he said fitness youth.
"The sessions are designed to be fun and interactive for children to have fun while learningfitness youth ."
Previous programs have enabled participants to increase their physical activity by an average of 4.8 hours per week and reduce sedentary activities to average 6.3 hours per week fitness youth, and better self-perceived health and cardiovascular .
The upcoming program sessions begin on Tuesday and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:30 to 18:30 for 10 weeks fitness youth.
